Post image for Burberry celebrates all things British in Beijing

This Wednesday, April 13th, luxury fashion brand Burberry is set to celebrate all things British in China’s capital, Beijing – with plenty of music and technological delights to boot.
The event will mark a first in fashion, with virtual image technology, live models, animations and life-like holograms combining together with immersive audio to create a truly sensational visual and sensory experience.
“I love the creativity, vibrancy and history of China with its exciting and dynamic energy and it is a huge privilege to be flying the flag for Britain in the magnificent city of Beijing connecting all of our global communities to celebrate everything Burberry represents today from music, to heritage and innovation,” said Burberry’s chief creative officer Christopher Bailey.
British indie-pop band Keane will headline the extravagant event on the 2000 square metre stage at Beijing Television Centre – but fear not, our Burberry lovers, the whole experience will be live streamed globally through Burberry.com and 50 Retail Theatres at Burberry stores worldwide.
The British heritage brand now has an impressive 57 stores across China – including their most technologically advanced store at Sparkle Roll Plaza in Beijing.
It seems fashion and technology come naturally to this home-grown label
