See Harry Potter’s Neville Longbottom Grow Up
Photo: Matthew Lewis, not a Neville Longbottom anymore.
Where were you when you realized Neville Longbottom has
gotten really hot? Apologies if that question makes you uncomfortable — it kind of makes us uncomfortable! — but the facts cannot be denied. Matthew Lewis, the 22-year old actor who has played Neville in all of the
Harry Potter movies, has become a total looker, a development definitively on display at the
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 premiere last week, where Lewis towered over his co-stars while posing in a dapper three-piece suit, looking nothing like the pudgy-faced, snaggle-toothed, awkward little boy he was back in
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. To both appreciate and accept the true extent of this transformation (what do you think the spell for this is? "Growthspurtius!"), we have assembled a slideshow chronicling Lewis's appearance, from the first
Harry Potter film to the present day. (Also: Check out our other slideshows that chart the metamorphoses of
Daniel Radcliffe,
Emma Watson and
Rupert Grint.)
