Would you ever hand over your purse—with its contents included—to be displayed in a gallery? For €500, a few women did just that for German artist Hans-Peter Feldmann’s new solo presentation at London’s Serpentine Gallery. The exhibition includes six bags, along with painkillers, phones, business cards, makeup, etc., on display in cases. [Telegraph]

The Red Hot Chili Peppers were announced this morning as the main act at this year’s Lollapalooza. Other performers in the lineup for the August festival are the Black Keys, Jack White, the Shins, and Passion Pit. [Lollapalooza]

Armani Casa opens its first Miami store today. The 3,660-square-foot shop includes furniture and furnishings, tableware, decorative accessories, fabrics, ornaments, lighting, and bathroom and kitchen products. They also offer “made to measure” solutions for private clients. [WWD]

Gary Ross, the director of The Hunger Games, has confirmed that he won’t be directing the sequel Catching Fire. “As a writer and director, I simply don’t have the time I need to write and prep the movie I would have wanted to make because of the fixed and tight production schedule,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter.
