Rumor has it that Chanel is set to build a 20,000-square-foot store on Bond Street. It will reportedly be an office space and shop for the label. [Vogue U.K.]

Nicole Richie has joined forces with QVC on a collection, set to be unveiled on a February 24 show on the home-shopping network. The line includes crinkled maxi dresses, a printed kimono jacket, a leather hobo bag, and “print-driven” blouses. [WWD]

Alexa Chung has been appointed a Young Style Ambassador for the British Fashion Council. Her new role will include promoting British fashion talent and attending BFC events. [Telegraph]

The rain called off most of the Occupy Wall Street demonstrators set to march from Liberty Plaza to the Calvin Klein show yesterday. A few people, however, showed up anyways: “We don’t vilify the 1 percent. We’re just hoping to educate them,” one demonstrator told WWD. [WWD]
